John Hodson is reporting on another thread that "Treasure Island" (1934), "A Tale of Two Cities" (1935), "David Copperfield" (1935), "Marie Antoinette" (1938), and "Pride and Prejudice" (1940) will be released, both individually and as part of a set, by Warners on DVD on October 10, 2006. Treasure Island and A Tale of Two Cities were two of the films initially discussed at the beginning of this thread as deserving a DVD release, and much thanks to Warners for bringing these films to DVD. The other three films in the set are also outstanding. It is not often a studio bats a 1000% in choosing the films for a box set, but in this case I think Warners has done just that. Nice job.
