Does anybody have any experience of this make. I have a 1070, very pleased with the sound in Dolby digital but listening in 2ch stereo is very dissapointing. Sound is a bit wooden with no life and a bit lacking in bass.
I use Monitor Audio full range speakers. Its probably me just not doing something right in setup.

Try hooking your CD player to the 1070 with analog cables and listen in bypass mode.

Thanks, that's improved things considerably. I thought it would be something simple I wasn't doing.
Never could figure out what that switch was for so i just left it alone.
