Hi all. My Mom just got a new (to her) 24" Citizen CRT television and Sony Stereo CD/Stereo receiver (LBT-D107R) with 2 speakers from a friend that just upgraded. I have the unit hooked up to the TV with the audio out from the Blu-ray player going into the stereo's audio in under the Video section on the rear panel. I can hear the audio but the voices are extremely quiet and the background music and some other sounds come in quite clear. There is also a soft buzzing coming from the speakers when the left and right jacks are connected all the way in, but it goes away if they are only partially the way in.
I have also tried connecting the Blu-ray player's audio out to the TV's audio in and then connecting the TV's audio out to the stereos audio in, but only get static from the speakers while the audio from the TV remains unchanged. There is a manual, but for whatever reason, there is no instructions in there about the connecting the audio from a TV.
The TV itself only has audio options to change the volume and balance while the Blu-ray player does not have any options to change, say from 5.1 to 2.0 or anything like that.
I took some pictures of the units so you can see what I am dealing with, it's nothing fancy, but it has me stumped as I am mostly new to this.

Just let me know if any other info is needed, thanks =)
