Of course, people don't talk like that. However, if characters in movies talked like people in real life, their dialogue would be boring because people's conversations in real life are never as witty or interesting as good movie dialogue.

I agree, the movie wouldn't have been as half as good without Juno's witty dialog. Maybe not true to life, but fun nonetheless.
