When they won it in 2004 (and in particular, how they won it), my father, who grew up admiring Ted Williams, cried. He also told me that if the Red Sox never won another game so long as he lived, it would be okay.

This month I've already "warmed up" with Halloween, Gaslight, Repulsion, Burnt Offerings, The Evil Dead, The Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell, Night of the Living Dead, the original 13 Ghosts, The Living Ghost, Strip Nude for your Killer, Zombie Holiday, and just last night - Diary of the Dead!

I'm primed and ready! Too bad the Paris trip falls smack dab in the middle of the month! I'll have to watch a couple flicks on the plane! Snakes on a Plane anyone? Flight of the Living Dead?

I think it was in 2005 or 06 when I did back-to-back marathons. I believe it was 100 flicks in September alone. Then 160 in October. Yeah, friggin crazy. I'm still in therapy.
