I mentioned the grosses in my post. It made about 37% of its total in the first weekend, so it didn't die immediately, but it didn't exactly show legs...

I always thought the hook to the movie was Eddie Murphy, playing the multiple rolls so well like in the first and only the first Nutty Professor. I thought for sure it would be hilarious but to my mistake it was awful. Didn't catch at the box office though, I waited for DVD then decided not to buy into it until Pay per view and got the movie for 3.99 recorded on DVD+R.
