In order to allocate all of their resources to a global launch of WP7, Microsoft will not be making a CDMA version until the "first half of 2011". While GSM is the de facto global standard, ignoring Verizon and Sprint in the US cuts their user market in half. http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2010/09/17/no-cdma-windows-phone-7-devices-until-2011/ By the time WP7 hits the CDMA carriers, the premium Android 3.0 phones will be blowing the WP7 phones out of the water. Only a precious few Verizon and Sprint customers will bother switching toAT&T or TMo for what appears to be a fiasco in the making. Anyone want to guess the over/under for AT&T iPhone users switching to WP7? I'm guessing it's like 10. Hmm... maybe that's too high.
