Newbie question Progressive scan.. blue tint (1 Viewer)

I am pressed for time right now so I will be quick... I have a Sony Dream Theater hooked up to a Toshiba 51H83 (?)Projection TV... Everything seems fine until I try the progressive scan on the DVD, it appears with a BLUE TINT. When I revert back to interlace it looks fine. The cable TV comes in OK too. I have it hooked to Component Video out and have tinkered with the Tint/Color, but I cannot correct it. Any thoughts? THanks for any help...

That set should have two different component-video inputs on back, one of them being for a wideband connection (for use with 480p and 1080i sources). Connect your DVD player to the wideband input.

I fixed it! I changed the cables I was using and it cleared up. Thanks for your input Jack, no pun intended.
