Newbie Help: Which 55" to get? (1 Viewer)

AFter weeks of research, and looking at many units, side by side, with different inputs (DSS, NTSC, DVD progressive), etc, I have come to the following three:

Mitsubishi WS55411
Pioneer PRO-530HD
Toshiba 57HDX82

So far, the Mits looks like the top contender, but before I cough up the $$$, I wanna see what you guys think.

ANy comment, advice, etc, is welcome! I appreciate it!

There is no "best" TV. The three you listed are all very good and made by well know companies. Everyone has different reasons for picking a TV and it looks like you have compared the three and are close to making a decision. I purchased the 55411 back in Sept. and I think it's great. I've tweaked it with Video Essentials and the picure is the best I have ever seen (I haven't seen any other HDTVs outside of the showrooms though). The only problem I have is the red push on the component inputs. It's not bad but it is noticable. I can either buy an attenuator to lower the red on the input, build an IC2 cable and flash the EPROM to adjust the color or have it professionally calibrated.

That seems to be the issue with the Mits. But from reading at all forums they all have issues.
I asked some professional people and this the order they listed them.
Pioneer
Toshiba
Mits

This again is there opinion. I have seen the Mits/Pioneer next to each other set up in a Hi Fi store and I noticed the red push on the Mits myself.
When I am ready to buy it will probably be Pioneer or Toshiba....
