New Onyky DV-CP701 or Refurb. Denon DVM-1815 ? (1 Viewer)

Which would you choose and why? I'm leaning to the Onkyo due to the 1 year parts & LABOR warranty and the fact that you can buy a 2 year extended warranty directly from Onkyo for $30. So I'm looking at a refurb witha 90 day parts and labor warranty vs. a New unit with a 3 year parts and labor warranty for the same price of $129.

I know people like the Denons for the Faroudja chips, but I'm not likely to have an HD TV anytime soon so that's lost on me. The Denons seem to have a reputation for high quality, but I wonder with the seeming endless supply of refurbs for sale.

Answer: New. You have no incentive here whatsoever to go refurb.
