Network recently posted the following on their Facebook page regarding future releases of The Bill:
We continue to be committed to further releases of The Bill and are planning to release a sixth volume later in the year. In line with many comments from dedicated fans we’ve increased the number of shows on this next volume, so the six disc set will feature 48 episodes of Sun Hill’s finest!
Sounds good. I was getting tired of the 13 episode sets.

As I pointed out earlier, Undermind has been put back to July 23rd. So you won;t get it next month I'm afraid. Amazon haven't yet corrected their release date, but the July 23rd is the official one, according to Network's own site.

Sorry, I missed your follow up update of post #40 on post #43. Yep, you're right, Amazon UK haven't updated the release date as yet. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Have changed the release date of Undermind: The Complete Series to Monday 23rd July, but have added a 'TBC' (to be confirmed), due to the contradicting release dates on Amazon UK and Network's websites.

No probs. Bit of a headache trying to keep the release schedule lists updated, but a good headache.

I'd go with the Network date. They have a long history of accurate ones (as one might expect as they are the publisher). Whereas Amazon have an equally long history of receiving pre-release data and never, ever changing it with updated release dates - espescially when there are delays. I suspect on June 4th the listing for Undermind will change to "normally ships in 10-12 days", they will then get a bunch of complaints, contact Network and find out the release got pushed back, and then change their listing.
I;ve seen this happen many times.

However, as has happened when the release schedule lists in this thread have had to be updated, release dates for other Network titles have been brought forward or pushed back. Amazon UK can be slow with updating listing pages for some titles, but also on other occasions they've been first to put titles up for pre-order before Play.com. Amazon UK isn't really perfect, which is why occasionly some titles aren't updated as quick as people would like them to. But other DVD shopping websites (including Network's) aren't perfect. It would be great if you could pre-order Network titles on their website. Some titles are cheaper on Network's website than on Amazon UK for example, but also some Network titles on Amazon UK have been cheaper than on Network's website.

Release dates change, but that's normal (that can be few times, or it can happen a lot). Amazon UK haven't updated the release dates for Network TV titles, but it's not a case of it all being Amazon, as Network have been slow to update their website. And I've seen that happen a few times.

Any word on more releases of The Bill, been waiting ages

I'm wondering if they could get the rights to Thief Takers (1995) - A Carelton TV Show starring Simone Lahbib and Jack Ellis who both starred in Bad Girls

Nikki, The Bill: Volume Six is being released by Network on Monday 15th October (source: Amazon UK).
