There is a great little shop in CT that has acquired quite a reputation. They stock just about every weird, strange, rare, foreign, classic, hard to find film that's ever been released on video. The inventory includes cult favorites, drive-in flicks, British and American television, silent films, documentaries...and on and on and on.
The place is just a mess of goodies- if it's released on DVD- they have it. Unfortunately, a good portion of the rare collection is still on VHS.
(I believe they have been transfering some of that stuff onto DVD-R- just to preserve them. Some of the titles may never see the light of day again)
They have been written up in the local paper several times throughout the years as THE PLACE to go for serious cinema fans.
If you're going to go niche- go all out.
