I'm still waiting on the Kickstarter turntable. Latest delivery estimate is October.I have acquired some nice vinyl including a new MFSL Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. There's quite a bit of good vinyl on the net if you look hard enough.

I miss the Music Plus that use to be two blocks from the house! And a place called Middle Earth that had a huge selection of domestic and import vinyl.

There's a nice used/new store in my area called Groove Entertainment, but it's a 15 mile drive, and 45 minutes in traffic. They have a great used selection and most of the current new vinyl releases, including a lot of the Record Store Day releases (on Record Store Day, they are well past sold out by now). Back in the DVD Resource days, this was where I got most my DVD's, until the studios started sending them to me as promos.

Those photos above are the real crazyness of a true HT lover. I do believe that nothing is much entertaining than this.

Current tv is starting to get up there in age and I am dying to get a new tv but the money isn't there. I really want a 4K display but a new 60 - 70" 1080p display would be awsome! Now if some money would materialize out of no where I would be all set!

The next is to buy a copy 100/1000 4 slot change and cable up my Innovator Top level SC-05, Denon 1611 Packages Gamer and New laptop HD-DVD Player! Also will need to set up the system to flow songs to the SC-05 in the room.

My next upgrades are a Bell'O TV stand and a Klipsch RC-64 II Center Channel Speaker, 2 pair of Klipsch of RB-81 II Bookshelf speakers for surrounds and two KW-120 Klipsch subwoofers. If I ever upgrade to a new receiver with Dolby Atmos I would go with another 2 pair of RB-81's for 4 overhead Atmos channels! Now I just need money to buy this stuff and a few new movies would be nice.

It will be interesting to see what models come out offering Dolby Atmos and what ever DTS puts out, and to see what configurations are offered!

Next bluray purchase will be Transformers: Age of Extinction in Dolby Atmos. I need to start researching Atmos gear and new speakers to replace my rear channel speakers and future Atmos channels. This is not in my home theater yet but it is a consideration!

This upgrade is going to cost some serious cash and I need to figure out where it is going to come from and fast!

    New Receiver $2K - $3,800
    Must have:
    HDCP 2.2
    4K Upconvert/passthru
    Dolby Atmos
    3D Ready

    4K Bluray Player $?

New Center Channel at least $1,400
New Surround Speakers and 4 Atmos Channel Speakers $3,400
    Dual 15" Subs $1,800 - $2,400

    4K Projector $?
    120 - 160" screen $?

Worst case senario only do the following!
    4K Bluray Player $?
Replace one conect on current 4K UHD TV

One thing is for certain and that is my career path needs to change or I need to hit the lottery!

I hear you. I'm redoing my room also, but I'm going with all pro cinema gear - it's much cheaper! The Crown XLC2500 amps are under $400 apiece. The JBL Pro screen channels I'm getting are about $870 apiece. Even the the nicely laid out Denon Pro controller is under a grand. Have you looked into pro gear?
