Just copy and print this (may need resizing) and attach it to whatever you like for fully certified home theater. :P

I have simple print out stuck on the wall. :P Have you see the prices of the THX posters on ebay? Nuts really nuts $499.99 £302.90, I have the real THX crossover x2 of them for £100.00 and £50.00 and yet the posters fetch that amount? If I get into some art and graphs and had large parallel board to work on I'd make my own with a emboss 3d look with letterheads and fit in thin shallow frame.

What caught my eye on avs was those flat panel tv placed on its side and fitted to the wall to display any poster. Now that is cool but I like Quad UK posters but don't have the wall space in the hallway for that size. US posters may fit.

I'll get a picture frame for the print out and cut of the white sides of the paper and frame it. I wonder if the spare picture frame I have is bigger enough as it was going to be used on the other side of the wall for the video projector but only one picture frame was needed on the room side to isolate the fan noise. I'll check the frame and see if I can size it up and if so I'll fit up tonight if possible?

I haven't done any hands on cut and paste since the early 90's.

Took about 40 mins to do.

I cut and trimmed the print out and slimmed the width of it down so it would fit inside the picture frame. I had to cut the sides off and had can of carpet glue spray and spared that on the sides to glue down to overlap the blue outline box around the THX logo.

Sized the frame up on the wall and used soft coloring pencil to mark out the area and then drilled a few holes into two sides of the picture frame as two screws will hold it up there's hardly any weight to it. Drilled the wall and put some liquid nails into the holes and fitted two wall plugs and screwed up the picture frame.

BEHRINGER EURORACK RX1602, this is an item that has been on my list to buy since December 2011, but I forger what for now? It has enough channel inputs to outputs and I might be thinking about some sub bass channel management as it has 2 channel main output that could be feed to the Harmon Kardon AVP1a to filter lows from 80Hz and I can custom balance the levels on the RX1602 and use the volume control on AVP1a to adjust the level for bass shakers.

Might buy one soon.

A little idea I did around 3rd November 2011, if there was a 15 stage channel The Empire Strikes Back, would sound awesome. Sound can images can pan around the speaker positions while other sounds in space in a vacuum lol can immerse.

Compered with the colour and brightness the DVD looks bit shaded darker. Also the off-air version I transferred the VHS to DVD-RW most episodes I recoded have reel change over dots..

I must say, this is the most unique "home theater" I've seen in quite a while.

p.s. Why did you feel the need to screw that picture frame to the wall?

;)

I could have gone with double sided tape I mean that stuff STICKS! I thought I want it screwed up so it doesn't fall to the floor as it has glass and I don't want broken glass on the floor and my cat putting his paws on broken glass.

Its secure its held up (just checked it).

This is why the THX pic is screwed to the wall. Better to be safe. :)

THX 1138 (1971)
dtsHAMA 5.1 / Lucafilm Ltd THX Sound System.

Cool sci-fi, still wouldn't mind the letterbox USA laserdisc pressing of the original.

I learned that at school. Its called counterbalance.
Unfortunately i took cooking classes at school instead so if i tried putting it on the wall it would likely break or fall off.

Forgot me smiley. :) :3dglasses:

Rack system was bit different back around 31st January 2013, while watching Unforgiven (1992) on Warner laserdisc on the projector. Also have it on DVD.

Little bit of rainbow noise but the video was going thou Yamaha RX-V650 back then and I'm sure if I played it again with Onkyo TX SR-875 I'd see less noise. Still its a classic film.
