Bob Clark knew how to make creepy movies. Its sad to see the type of films he's making nowadays, especially considering Black Christmas is my favorite horror film.

With the "Direct to DVD" market doing so well today it would seem some producer would go to Clark and get him to return to the genre.

I have the first two on DVD and I'll eventually pick up the R2 SE DVD of CHILDREN SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS (1972) - although I'm aware of its running time issues, as well as MURDER BY DECREE (1979) and A CHRISTMAS STORY.

Despite the enormous promise shown in DEATHDREAM and BLACK CHRISTMAS, sadly there's not much else in his filmography which holds the remotest interest for me because after A CHRISTMAS STORY especially, his career took a downward spiral into puerile comedy territory:frowning:.
