I'd kill for a widescreen dvd of The Skull, I've had a badly scanned and zoomed in vhs copy since 1980. Francis directed the creepy lighthouse sequences from Day of the Triffids, arguably the best scenes of the film.

Rankings

1)Dracula Has Risen from the Grave
2)Dr.Terrors House of Horrors
3)The Skull
4)The Creeping Flesh
5)The Evil of Frankenstein

I know I've seen The Creeping Flesh, Trog, and Day of the Triffids, probably a few others.

The Creeping Flesh (1973) - I need to pick up that R2 SE DVD pronto!
Tales from the Crypt (1972)
Torture Garden (1967) - luckily, upcoming on R1 DVD from Columbia
The Evil of Frankenstein (1964) - ditto, via Universal
Nightmare (1964) - ditto
The Brain (1962)

I need another viewing of EVIL OF FRANK, which I'll get soon.

Mario, THE GHOUL is out from Brentwood in R1 land.

Oh come on! Give it up already! You've never heard of Freddie Francis? Maybe not for his directing, but not for his cinematography either?

No doubt I saw some of these on TV as a youth. I know I saw part of one of the Hammers recently (maybe they are all Hammers) and I think it was probably the Dracula one.

Now, his cinematography on the other hand, includes a few of my all-time faves.
