I've seen part of Serial Mom and thought it was pretty funny.

You can't go to grad school in Baltimore in the latter half of the 80s and not hear of John Waters. And not see at least parts of some of his films. But I never liked any of what I saw enough to want to finish seeing any of them.

At least in terms of some of his films, such as Pink Flamingos, I don't think I deserve the usual criticism when I say...

Disgusting.

FWIW, I have seen pieces of several of his films, but Serial Mom is the only one I've ever sat down and watched. It's actually pretty good.

I love Waters stuff. No other director captures the shear joy of film making like he does. Everything I've seen I own.
