I also have ALL ABOUT MY MOTHER (1999) and TALK TO HER (2002) on VHS which, given that they are arguably his most acclaimed movies, probably indicates that I find him overrated as a film-maker and too one-sided as an artist (what with all the recurring inferences to the gay subculture).

The plot reminded me of the Mexican soap operas I saw while sitting in a hotel room south of the border. And amazingly, all the actors were speaking Spanish in both cases.
