    In order of merit:

    1.Gilda (1946) ****
2.The Mask of Fu Manchu (1932; replaced by Charles Brabin) ***
    3.Love Me or Leave Me (1955) ***
    4.Hans Christian Andersen (1952) **1/2
    5.The Swan (1956) **1/2
    6.A Farewell to Arms (1957) **

I'm sure I had rented A SONG TO REMEMBER (1945) on VHS but, for the life of me, I can't remember [sic] if I watched the damn thing or not!! Of his other films, I'm especially interested in watching BLIND ALLEY (1939) and LADIES IN RETIREMENT (1941).

Never seen any of his movies. I do have recordings of several of his Organ works, though. [IMG]

    Gilda (1946) - 8/10

His movies look better but have less soul than those of his surname sake the far greater King Vidor.

The Swan was terrible, only for Grace Kelly completists.

Gilda I really loved; I love those kind of closet sex flicks. Rita is sumptuous in this. I never forget her entrance where she dances up into the frame, and her big number, great song... Can't recall it though.
