Jay E: Thanks for setting me straight. I've edited my original post to reflect the changes (and correspondingly lengthened my Warners list).

I must say that the topic of which-studio-owns-which-title is very confusing (due to the complex deals struck in the 80's by the likes of MGM, Ted Turner, and AOL/Time/Warner). From what I've been able to figure out, Warner has control of pre-1986 MGM films and most of the RKO films. MGM/UA owns its own films produced from 1986 onward and the UA and Orion film libraries.

I'll second the request for Altman's 'Thieves Like Us' and both the Malle films. Robert Altman is not yet well represented on DVD. Other key films still needed are 'California Split' (Columbia), '3 Women' (Fox), 'Secret Honor' (anyone know who owns this one?) and 'Short Cuts' (New Line).

The which Studio owns which title also totally confuses me also. MGM also owns the film libaries of American International Pictures & if I'm not mistaken MGM also owns the film libaries of Embassy Pictures.
