If you like the idea of the 6.2s you might also want to consider the Black Cherry 6.1s. They're available from New Egg for $760 and that would open up budget room for more amplification OR bring your overall cost down considerably.

Do not underestimate the capability of the amp in the AVR43x. While I worked at a nearby Fry's, I got a set of big JBL Northridge E main speakers to do an excellent impression of a separate powered sub when the switching system for the subwoofers went out one weekend.
