Will this be the same transfer of She Done Him Wrong That they released a few years ago on a stand alone DVD?

I would love another Deanna Durbin collection with 100 Men and a Girl and my favorite, His Butler's Sister.

Hi Warren!

While I can't say with 100% certainty, based on the same Bonus Feature ("She Done Him Right") being included as on the 2008 Universal DVD release, I'm strongly inclined to say it's very likely the same transfer for SHE DONE HIM WRONG that's being used for the upcoming release.

CHEERS! :)

Hi Matt!

That's also the one Mae West outing that seems to have a reputation of being somewhat overrated!

Oddly enough, I've never purchased any of her Films. Everything I have of Mae is from TCM airings. However, since I got a positive response from my wife when I mentioned this upcoming set, I'm likely in provided the pricing isn't too steep. As this won't be a Blu-ray release, anything under $30 should be good for me. Of course, I might also want to get THE HEAT'S ON, in order to complete Mae West's 30's/40's oeuvre. I really have no desire for the much later produced MYRA BRECKINRIDGE or SEXTETTE, though I believe the latter is based on her 1920's Broadway play SEX.

Hopefully, the MAE WEST ESSENTIAL COLLECTION will be up for pre order before long!

CHEERS! :)

Yes this is the one that got Miss West jailed. She had another show called Drag, that was a few years before Rupal's Drag Race!!!

The "She Done Him Wrong" DVD looks pretty good. It's grainy but came from a miraculously clean source. There's no trailer, but along with the Pooch The Pup cartoon there's a Robert Osbourne introduction (the menu has a prominent TCM logo).
