looking for good satellites for under $1000 (1 Viewer)

Hey a friend of mine is putting together a home theatre in his loft and he really liked the look and sound of the Mirage Omnisats, a set of five plus the sub was around $1000. unfotunately they (called mirage directly) are out of stock of the black ones and won't have anymore until the third week of december. He doesn't want to wait that long so is now looking for an alternative in the same price range.

He just finished remodelling the loft and wants everything done by the end of next week. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you had a chance to check out the SVS site regarding their new 5.1 setup? I'm not sure how the prices would compare to some of the other offerings in Canada - being that a great many speaker manufacturers reside there.
