HISTORY® brings American geography to vivid life in How The States Got Their Shapes: Season 2 arriving on DVD July 9 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Both engaging and entertaining, How The States Got Their Shapes: Season 2 follows popular comedian Brian Unger (TV's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart") as he meets with everyday citizens and quizzes them on the fascinating reasons for why our states have such unique borders. Featuring 30 minutes of never-before-seen-on TV bonus footage, the How The States Got Their Shapes: Season 2 DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $19.98.
Every state has a shape...and every line has a story to tell. This season, Brian Unger hits the road to uncover the history hidden in our map through man-on-the-street quizzes and head-to-head competitions that reveal the surprising history of places we thought we knew. Exploring from the crooked lines of the east to the boxy shapes of the west, Brian teams up with average Americans to reveal how America took shape, giving them an opportunity to make some cash and show their state pride by proving how well they know their United States.

I didn't know this show had actual seasons, I have caught it a few times on the History Channel and its not only a fun show but fairly interesting. Its fascinating to hear about things that actually impacted the map we have today.
