    Relive the most important battle in Mexico's history when Cinco De Mayo: La Batalla, arrives on DVD October 15 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Cinco De Mayo: La Batalla will also be available on Digital Download and Video on Demand October 1, two weeks prior to the DVD release. On May 5th, 1862, thousands of Mexican soldiers rallied against the world's largest and most powerful army in an epic battle for freedom and for Mexico. Directed by Rafa Lara (Labios Rojos), the Cinco De Mayo: La Batalla DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $19.98.
    Cinco de Mayo: La Batalla chronicles the story of Mexico's Battle of Puebla, the most important battle in Mexico's history. When the unbeatable French army invades Mexico to set up a monarchy, General Ignacio Zaragoza (Kuno Becker, Goal!, From Prada to Nada), must defend the city of Puebla, commanding a poorly armed and outnumbered troop of men.
