There are not too many things that I don’t love. Even so, good food and drink and intelligent women of character no doubt are at the top of my list of loves.

Just when you thought that you knew it all…

Have you tried a snakebite (1/2 Guinness, 1/2 hard cider).

No—but I have tried a Black Velvet (Guinness and champagne), which I consider a waste of both champagne and Guinness.

What would you say to a Guinness martini?...

1 ounce espresso
3 ounces Stoli Vanilla
1/2 ounce Tia Maria
1/2 ounce Bailey's
1/2 ounce Kahlua

Apparently, this tastes like G. Haven't tried it; not interested. And for the record, I like G, but it's not in my Top 10 (I feel a Poll coming on...).

If you tried that in Ireland and claimed it as "Guinness", you'd be liable to get your ass kicked. Those guys don't mess around with their delicious beer
