Danny's back in town, and he's got nuptials on his mind. What else is in store for the Montecito crew?

They need to move this show out of the 9 PM Monday time slot.

Just my hunch that people who would be interested in a Las Vegas based show might rather watch Monday Night Football! ;-)

Well, it did all right there last year, and where would you move it to? Where's the gap on NBC's schedule where this show would fit better?

Besides, if they did move it, you'd have people complaining that NBC was trying to kill it by not letting it have a stable timeslot.

I'm just upset I have no VCR and I like the show, just not as much as MNF :)

I thought the episode was good, especially the new Danny story line.

I dunno. It seemed like they were trying to be topical but had a very disjointed show. Every storyline was too short. It reminded me of that terrible New Orleans episode from last year. Not a great pickup from the season finale imho.

Did anyone else think that Mary (Nikki Cox) is continuing to put on weight? I bet they are going to have to keep her in dresses most of the season to cover up her expanding lower half.

    Still a beautiful woman though..

The Manchurian Candidate! Patrick, that was great! I am waiting for him to go ballistic, though, even with the sleep that he gets.

I actually don't know what is scarier - the fact that Danny must have done some really weird shit to get discharged so fast - or the fact that his boss knew where his was every day.

Nikki Cox has always looked fine to me, even last night!

That show has some of the best looking women of any network show, IMHO!

I thought Molly Simms looked a little worse last night. The other three were smokin' though.

Jon Lovitz shows up and actually made me laugh a little.

Danny's problems go away with a good week's sleep? [IMG]

I'd want a cabana view of their new topless area of the Montecito as well.

The group effort to nab the blackjack book club gang seemed to take too long considering how it was accomplished. Buh bye, Leo!

Me too. He was almost the same character he plays on The Simpsons, Arnie Ziff. Some of the lines while tending bar were great! I also liked it when at the pool, he had to put his hat on his lap.

I understand the concept of the blackjack scam, but I just cannot believe it would work so well. Even if the deck is rich in high cards, that only givs the player a very small advantage over the house (maybe .5%). This would only last until they shuffled. Also, since they shuffle the decks (8 I believe) about half to two-thirds of the way through, this scheme doesn't seem like it would work too well.

You mean there is an unrealistic plot element in the show????? [IMG] [IMG]

I love when they can do xrays with CCTV cameras. When they used a CCTV camera to xray the guys arm last week, and saw the serial number of the computer chip embedded, I just had to roll my eyes. It's entertaining, but it's pure fiction.

Sure, the casinos have some great toys, but there is quite a bit of "artistic license" taken with the plot points and technology.

An excellent episode... It's what the season premiere should have been!

This was one of the few things on the show I actually didn't have a problem believing. Although it's a bit more involved than what they did on the show, teams of blackjack players have done this and done well. The history channel had a special called Breaking Vegas that showed how a blackjack team at MIT did it. It was pretty interesting. There's some more info on it here
