XBR has a better remote, better warranty, DRC pallete adjustments (unless these were added to the HS model, but I don't think they did). It also has a scrolling index and better PIP features that the HS models didn't have.

I'm not exactly sure what was added to the 2003 HS models compared to the 2002 models but from what I have seen they look very similar in features.

The HS 510 has the scrolling index PiP. Actually all the PiP features on the 510 are pretty cool.

How do you fix the red push, and what is DRC?

I'm buying the KV-30HS510 for my parents this evening...
