Its official Denon 5900 has been approved to use DVI

    I'm surprised this hasn't been posted already the news came from DenonJeff today but was official 9/26/03. See here http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/show...18#post2746118. Also he's already updated the Denon website. So if you want a 5900 wait until they activate the port so you don't have to go through the upgrade. Also Jeff should be posting the lowdown on the upgrade path soon so if you have one already stay tuned.

    Great news! Now I really want a 5900. I'll have to try my sources for a good deal on this killer player.

    Using the 5900 since 2 days. And I can confirm it John, you definitely want a 5900!!![​IMG]

    Talk about improvement over my 3800 for picture quality, sharpness and black level...

    Just can't wait to activate that DVI port to see the upscaling on that beauty!
