Anyone heard his version of Over the Rainbow? It's wonderful and you won't be thinking of Judy while he's singing it. His voice has a quality of emotion.
Can anyone recommend one of his Albums? Of course Over the Rainbow must be on it.

I picked up Facing Future from iTunes. It has Somewhere Over The Rainbow on it.

How do you like the rest of the album?

It's worth a listen, but not something I listen to often.

About 75,000 times. :) Mostly in movie soundtracks. It is a classic, though.
Sadly, I don't think there's a lot of material out there. He died at a very young age due to his ludicrous weight problems.

Yeah. My wife had heard his Over the Rainbow a few years ago and I got her the CD as a stocking stuffer.

As pleasant a sound as it (and he) had, it just doesn't get much play time at home.

I've ordered Gacing the Future. I expect it will get playtime in our home.

I was in the library last night and stumbled across Facing the Future on the shelf. :) It's fun but Somewhere over the Rainbow/ What a Wonderful World is certainly the highlight.
