just bought my 2nd HD DVD disc, Casablanca. don't like the film much but i wanted to see how well a black&white held up and boy does it hold up 
it's better than many MODERN releases sometimes.
anyway, in the advertisement slip that came with the HD DVD, Shawshank Redemption is one of titles that were supposed to have been released Summer of 2006. that never happened. if they put that in the ads, i assume it's imminent... don't you think?
