    Tough choice to make on most anticipated release, but I'll have to go with... Wings of Desire

    Best release to date... The Day The Earth Stood Still

    There are some other choices that come to mind, but what puts this title over the top is the wonderful presentation which is simply stunning for a 52 year old film.

    2. In A Lonely Place I just got it yesterday and haven't had a chance to watch it yet. But this has been at the top of my wish list since the early days of laser disc. This is the first disc release of this wonderful film.

    It hasn't been officially, but Paramount is releasing it. Supposed to be in June but that may have changed. Eddie Bracken recorded an interview for the disc shortly before he died. Info can be found at the Preston Sturges family website.

    Almost went with Ali Fear Eats The Soul, supposed to be out this Summer from Criterion.
