In floor subwoofer ? (1 Viewer)

We are renovating our family room and making some changes to our HT setup. Thinking about dropping the subwoofer under the floor just In front of the couches. Wondering if this is a good idea? Looking for some advice.....

Ok thanks for these subwoofer ideas. I was thinking about dropping my bottom firing subwoofer, that I have, into a plywood box hung between the floor joists, into the crawl space below my family room floor. Will this work well?
