"I would prefer chronological releases " I think your right there,

but for

different reasons,I would prefer that these sets weren't full of latter stuff

,so we agree in a way,you don't want old stuff and I can

do without post 46 stuff. But from what I remember they didn't decide to

remaster the old stuff first,so they have a mix of stuff,Now that they

released dvd sets ,I don't think they would do them in order.Maybe after

we bought all the sets, they will release a super box with book, but I don't

think they will ever get to stuff like Coal Black,If they did them in order

you would have a lot of Buddy ,Bosko, and Harmen and Ising stuff and holes

for the PD Stuff

Unknown as of now. From a recent post, Mr. Beck is still in the process of sealing the deal with CBS. He says he'll announce it once it is finalized. Personally, I'm quite confident they will include the more well-known Heckle & Jeckle and Mighty Mouse cartoons.

I guess that's really all we can expect, which is fine ... but I could go for some Dinky Duck right about now.

I'm looking for a particular short which features Miss Prissy, some gangsters, and someone blowing out a match/pilot light with a "puh" sound. I know it's not too much info, but does anyone know what short this might be and what Looney Tunes set it is on?

I would really like to see the rest of the Sam Sheepdog/Ralph Wolf series.

That sounds like An Egg Scramble which is on Volume 3 of the Looney Tunes Gold Collection.

For those that waited or didn't buy the individual Golden Collection releases in the past, Vol's 1-6 are bundled as Amazon's Deal of the Day for $64.99 here

The TERRYTOONS Libary is the last major one not to be out on DVD. (I wouldn't consiter the Colpix Screen Gems cartoons major)

Which makes MIGHTY MOUSE the last iconic animation star not to be on DVD.,

Isn't that the small special at the Chinese take-out place down the street - a Dinky Duck?
