I totally agree.

And, the one other thing I'd most like to see become a mandatory standard feature is a "Play All" option.

I have the Monkees box sets, and I'll sometimes play them as background while I'm doing housework, etc. But, since they don't have a "Play All" feature, I find myself reaching for the remote so often, it's quite frustrating... Many other sets don't offer this feature, of course, but the Monkees thing is a particular pet peeve...
