I'll look at that. The macro touted by Gruber to open pages in Chrome doesn't work. Hadn't seen anything else.

I used Chrome for about 6 mo. I like it, but the interface isn't "Apple" and doesn't integrate with iOS. I'll check out the link when I'm back on my desktop :)

The hits just keep on rolling! http://arstechnica.com/security/2013/02/adobe-releases-third-security-update-this-month-for-flash-player/ Noted a number of sites no longer worked with Chrome's built in flash player probably because of these updates.... That's the first time it's happened to me but a major hit to my recommended strategy for avoiding installing Flash. Best to just kill it with fire I guess.

Bummer. I stopped using safari and use Chrome for everything.... Edit: See this! http://zackeryfretty.com/click-to-flash-google-chrome/
Give Safari 6.1 a shot. HUUUUGE speed improvement. Truly snappy!

And at this point any web site still using Flash is pretty much a must to avoid anyway. I've been running Flash free and using Safari for over a year now and I sure don't feel I've been missing anything

Ask adware has always been bundled with Java, but now the radio button to install is automatically checked instead of unchecked. Like the article states, they are preying on the users who simply click "next" during all installations without actually reading and comprehending what they are doing. Java is still ass though.

Logitech Harmony software still requires it. I wish there was another universal remote option. But I haven't found anything.
