I got about 1386 cd's, so i justified about one cent for every cd in my collection. lol

so if everybody got $13.86 back and the total cash settlement turned out to be $67,375,000 there were about 4,861,111 people who filed! wow!

Dennis- You kill me. :)

dmt- I'm at about the 2 cents per CD range... Your calculation is forgetting lawyers' fees. ;)

Just received mine today!! Woohoo!! Along with a $5.00 rebate check from Sennheiser for my PX200 headphone purchase. :D

On the other hand, can't find the George Harrison 2 disc SACD "Live In Japan" for $9.99.

Same here, got mine today!! Yeehaw!! I just wish it was a little more than 13.86. Oh well, it's the thought that counts.

My check came today as well. I was surprised by it actually. I thought it was going to be like $2.00.

Ahh, it may only be $13.86, but knowing it came out of the RIAA's pockets made it the sweetest $13.86 I ever did receive. :)

"I thought it was going to be like $2.00"

I remeber reading that if the checks were less than $5 they were going to just give the money away to schools as it wouldn't be cost effective to mail a check for $5. I had written it off as I thought for sure too many people would sign up, the checks would be too small to be sent out. Imagine my suprise. Sis got one too.:D
