I once got beat at The Bicycle Club too. I had Kings full and ended up being third best. The other two guys split the "bad beat jackpot." I lost $80 in the hand, and the other two guys split, are you ready for this...

They split $100,000.00 cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate the Bike.

Wow, that sucks. In Vegas the whole table gets a share of the pot. There were 2 four of a kinds in about 3 hours at my table at Circus Circus, but nobody took a "bad beat" on 'em.

Also saw my first Royal Flush at the Bike but there was no bonus for it. I think every other casino I've played at had some kind of bonus for one.

Yeah for me. I just won my first tournament at Paradise Poker.com. Is was only a small buy in, and a small prize. But for once I came in first.:) :) :)

I thought this was a cool hand:

I'm low stack in a 11-man game, and we finally get down to the final four players (only top 3 finish in the money), so I'm the guy everyone else wants to bust.

I'm BB (can't even meet the regular BB amount since I'm that low on chips), and I go all-in Dark. 2 players drop out, and I'm up against the big bully at the table. Just for fun, I stay Dark, and he flips over AJ.

The flop goes 4Q3
The turn goes A (people watching us were gasping at the turn)
The river goes 10

So it looks good for the big bully with his 2 A's.

I flip over my 2 hold cards:

I had pocket rockets! And won the hand to survive another round before I got blinded out in 4th place. Anyhow, that was a pretty cool result from going Dark.

I didn't even know that was possible. I thought that if you couldn't call the BB you were out. Is it different if you are the one sitting at the BB position?

If you only have 1 chip, you can still go in with that 1 chip, but you can only win 1 chip from whoever stays in the pot, the rest goes into a side pot if there is more players in the hand.
