Ron, once Gravity is released on 3D, I'm sure you'll have to expand it to the Top 28 3D releases.

RonThat will be the biggest regret of your life. Ask anyone who has seen it and they will tell you the same thing we are. Remember, we told you here first. If there was ever a 3D film that needs to be seen in a theater, GRAVITY is that film.

Just had a double bill of 3D movies.

I watched House Of Wax and Madagascar 3, i enjoyed both, the 3D on House Of Wax had good depth and some quality pop out moments, i loved the bit where Mr Bronson comes into the screen near the end, some minor ghosting here and there but that's my display not the disc, i really enjoy a good classic film and it was great to see this one in 3D.

Now onto Madagascar 3, quite possibly the most entertaining 3D film i have seen to date, fabulous depth, fabulous popout moments, good music score and an entertaining film, the first fifteen minutes of this film had more popout moments ( plus fabulous depth ) than all the 3D Pixar films put together, it just seems to me that Dreamworks understands what people want from a 3D film and they know the FUN to be had from depth AND popout.

Pixar seem more interested in being arty, almost a snobbish approach about how to use 3D if you ask me.

Madagascar 3 is one of my favorite 3D animated titles.

Very funny film. Liked it far better than I thought....

...and it was recommended by HTF members, otherwise I would have missed it.

Open question: I was looking at the 3D review database and couldn't find a review for Epic. Did the HTF simply not get a screener?

Stephen,

It has been extremely difficult for us to get 3D Fox screeners.

As far as I can see, we never did a review of Epic in 3D.

Actually, I bought it and returned it unopened after reading a review that
said the 3D was tame.

I just bought Jack The Giant Slayer in an Amazon Black Friday sale, i'm torn between watching in 2D or 3D when it arrives.
