i stopped reading when i saw that so i'm not sure if the theatrical ending is also
mentioned.

I'm wondering if the reason for only including the extended cut in SD has to do with the extended cut's transfer. I recall reading in some reviews that the PQ on the extended scenes isn't quite up to snuff.

Still, it all seems rather silly.

netflix finally sent me the hd dvd yesterday.

i watched the hd side first.
now the sd side.

the extended scenes are noticeably less in detail and there is a it of ringing.
the non extended parts also have a little ringing.

the hd side side doesnt look very much better then the sd side.
you can tell the difference but not by much.

i didnt notice a diference in the opening.
is there a list of the differences somewhere?
