How's this for a quickie primer on the benefits of widescreen?

    This is a new comic strip that appears in my local paper. Saw today's strip and new I had to post up.
    What is it they say: a picture's worth a thousand words? And, if you can get that picture syndicated in enough newspapers across the country....

    The name of the strip is "Pearls Before Swine" and the cartoonist is Stephan Pastis.

    Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I think this strip points out the key to getting JSP to accept letterboxing and widescreen: convince him that pan and scan is cutting off skin he'd otherwise get to see!
