My 2-disc R3 from Edko does excatly the same.
About half an hour into the film, the DVD freezes. I´ll take it out, put it back in to continue where it stopped. About 15 minutes later it stops again.
I have returned it to CD-WOW for a replacement. This surely must be a bad pressing.
I cannot be the only one who has experiences this.
