Read all about it

What's this mean? Brian and Lisa Henson are intending to make it a very active company, which likely means a lot more projects initiated.

(And they may have made half a billion dollars depending on just how much of the original sale was for EM.TV stock - sold in 2000 for $680M cash + stock, repurchased for $89M)

This is probably also good news for Farscape - that show is probably Henson's second-most-recognizable brand, and if they were to re-open negotiations with Sci-Fi, it's at least a different group of people for USA Networks to negotiate with. The Hensons' terms may wind up better than EM.TV's.

Thanks Jason, you beat me to the punch!

I had heard about this on Wednesday from one of my fellow Farscape fan-atics.

Here is a larger blurb on the Save Farscape site;

This may also boost the prospects for Henson Company bringing Farscape to the big screen for a theatrical release!

Only time will tell, but it is encouraging to say the least!

Unlike that other thread, this is good news for Farscape.

This is also good news for Muppets, since it has basically been rotting on the vine in recent years.

Can't wait for more Muppet goodness! :D

Hopefully they won't simply turn around and sell it to Disney.

Screw Farscape, bring back the Fraggles!!!!

Sorry never got into Farscape. The costumes were awesome, though.

Heh, Agreed. I want a new Fraggle show that's just as fun as the original, and picks up where the original left off...

at least so long as they can get Doc back, it should be good :). Hell, it'll be better than the Barney crap we're getting these days ;).

Yeah... but which Doc? :)
Kind of got confusing over here - Irish tv showed the US version with the Doc but British tv ( which we pick up too ) had the Skipper in the lighthouse. Very disorientating for my 7 year old mind :)
I prefered the lighthouse setting - kind of more believable that there could be a society of Fraggles living there undiscovered.
