Thanks for everyone's input.

While, there isn't a Costco nearby, I did notice
that you can buy it online with only a small premium
added, if you are not a member.
I think I will save up some $$ and go for the
14disc set.

The only skit I have ever seen was
the Dead Parrot one. I figure if the rest are
even half as great, I can not go wrong.

Some of the episodes are slow, but there are some skits that just make up for it in spades.
There is also a 2 DVD set with Monty Python live. I have it, but I haven't had a chance to see it yet. :frowning:

Damn. :frowning: The local Costco (Etobicoke - west Toronto) does not have it, and Costco.com doesn't ship in Canada.
Oh well, the quest for the holy boxed-set grail continues...

Definitely get the shows as opposed to ANFSCD. These shows are the genesis of all current sketch comedy and they never get old.

I would recommend getting both because ANFSCD includes some of their best skits in one fell swoop as opposed to having to scour through the individual DVDs just to find those skits -- plus, as mentioned earlier in this thread, ANFSCD doesn't have the censored versions of the skits.
