Jan 18, 2008 #4 of 6 M Maggi Magg Stunt Coordinator Joined Mar 5, 2003 Messages 118 I've owned all versions of this great movie on dvd and in my opinion the Japanese 2 disc Superbit has the best picture quality: Movie / THE GUNS OF NAVARONE (Superbit DTS) This movie has never had good pq on DVD. Let's hope for a Lowry clean up for the oncoming Blu-Ray release. Cheers Maggi

I noticed this at different moments throughout the film. I was wondering the same thing, is the new edition was better than the superbit I have?
