Oh darn -- having problems with my DVD player on my computer now. I was going to do more screenshots, and neither Windows Media Center nor Media Player will play my DVDs now. :frowning: Windows Media Player gives me a notice about "digital copy protection". I put in the exact same DVDs I've already made screenshots from, and it won't play now. Will have to figure this out. . .
*edit* Called up Dell Support, and there was a strange temporary fix for the problem -- changing the date clock from the taskbar back to November! Weird, but it's working now, and supposedly Microsoft will have a real fix in a future update.
Kim Basinger won the Academy Award for “L.A. Confidential”. Mickey Rourke became a professional boxer from 1991 – 1995 (necessitating operations to repair his damaged face).
I'm sure some of you have seen this one.

hmm. steve beat me to the post. I was going to post something to the effect of "Trust Chistou to get that one right". For the record, I guessed "Lost Boys". I'm pretty sure the Coreys ran down an alley in that one. it even looks like the board walk area. give me half a point.
I however, have no clue on the current one. I really am crap on these things.
But it has an eventual Oscar winner in it! And a soon-to-be Oscar-nominated director, and . . .Mickey Rourke!
Kidding aside, I think Mickey Rourke is a terrific actor and was on such a roll there for a while. I think it's sad that his love for boxing interfered with his acting career in various ways, but I guess it was his dream. I'm glad he's back to acting in higher-profile films again.
Seen 5 out of 8 movies featured (Memento, Equilibirum, 8 1/2, Sling Blade, Solaris) but could only ID Solaris :frowning:. I do think that Solaris capture was by far the easiest of the 5 to ID - anyone who had seen the movie should have guessed right, I think. Memento is the only other one I had seen twice, but there is no way in hell I would have recognized that capture.
I forgot to submit my missive on this one pre-clue, so I should still get 2 points. I've become positivly gay for musicals and this one lept up and took me from the moment I laid my beady eye on it. The clue confirmed it too.
I should get a bonus point when I'm confirmed correct.
