Wow, this is a cool idea for a draft. I don't think I'll participate, but I'll be watching closely. ;)

It's going to be very tough to keep this non-religious.
Oh, I don't know - I wouldn't have a problem with someone picking the Bible as a great achievement. Whether you believe its influence has been positive or negative, you can't deny its influence on our culture. That in itself makes its compiling/writing a major accomplishment.

Well, we need three more interested parties...

If you need just one more to get started and can't find anyone, I'll be in, but if you get enough without me, go ahead. It's a great idea for a tourney!

If I'm in, I'll say it right now, whoever is behind me can go when the person in front of me has picked. I hate hate hate keeping people waiting, and I'd rather lose my turn and catch up when I can than keep someone waiting. I realize it'd be a mess if everybody felt that way, but it's the way I feel. I never vote, people already know that, and I have no problems with not winning a vote. I'll like seeing what people pick.

It really really REALLY helps when the people in front of me have an "Up Next, On Deck" list in their post, otherwise I just lose track. If I ever do another Draft (unlikely, since I've already abandoned one) I'll made it mandatory that people include that in their pick posts.

You know what, I changed my mind... I'll be in if you still need participants. I'm in the same boat as Vickie, though - I know it can get messy if people don't stay on top of things, but at the same time I hate having to check in every half hour to see whether it's my turn yet. If you can do the on-deck thing it will really help. But yeah, if you still need me, I'm in.

Might as well, seems like most everything I'm participating in is about over. You have my lukewarm support, Steve.

Guys, thanks for joining up! :emoji_thumbsup:

I think this will be tougher than I thought what with all the competition. Looks like I'll have to do some thinking.

Color me intrigued by what you guys will come up with...
Don't worry, Mr. Kissinger has promised to keep us entertained with his picks. :)

Okay, let's pass the time with some trivia:

What device does Samson operate in A Tale of Two Cities?

Ok I'll start things off with
the ability to master fire, probably why the human race managed to survive to this day.
