Hi all --
When my center channel speaker (Klipsch SC-1) is placed on top of my TV (Samsung TXN3075) and the TV is turned on, I hear a slight electronic buzz through the speaker. The volume of the stereo to which it's attached doesn't affect it. In fact, the buzz comes through the speaker when the TV is on even if the stereo is turned off.
Clearly, it's interference from the TV. When I put the speaker on the floor, the buzz goes away. The placement of the speaker wire doesn't seem to affect anything.
Since the speaker pretty much has to be above the TV given the setup of the room, I'm looking for a way to shield the speaker from the interference -- maybe something between the speaker and the TV. A brass screen or something, perhaps?
Anyone have a recommendation?
Thanks,
Steve
