For anyone that has not yet done so, I would highly recommend downloading
the Amazon's App Store App I have had it installed longest time. Every day
they offer a free paid app for download. Most of the time it's crap, but every
now and then they give you something very valuable.

    Here is the link:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/get/android

Now here is the reason why you should download and install this today...

Once installed, if you download a free app using their latest version of the software,
through December 28th, Amazon will give you a $5 credit for future app purchases.

Well worth for you to take 5 minutes to download the App Store app, then download
a free game that you can delete, just to get the $5 credit.

And, keep checking daily for their Free App of the Day.

PS: Today, December 26th, they are offering Office ProfessionalSuite 7, a $14.99
app for just $.99. This is also available for the same price on the Google Play Store.
However, your $5 credit through the Amazon App Store can be used to purchase this
    software, if you want it.

I saw this but I have a question for those more versed in Android phone security. To use Amazon's app store you have to enable apps from "Unknown Sources." From what I have read in this past, isn't this a security problem?

No, it's no big deal unless you knowingly start downloading pirated apps from China.

Hanson is correct. Don't worry about enabling unknown sources in settings. The Amazon App is safe.

Boy, everybody is buying up the LG G2.

Both my brothers bought one within the past month.

They look like good phones. Highly rated. Just hate the volume and
power rocker on the rear below the camera. Stupid place to put it, but
other than that, a seemingly solid phone with the latest Snapdragon
    processor.
