Pioneer's original universal player (which is still the basis for a number of more expensive models, including the Marantz, Onkyo, and Lexicon players), playing both multichannel DVD-A and SACD audio formats as well as progressive scan DVD-V.

Audio features includes triple 24/192 DACs and limited bass-management for DVD-A playback, native DSD-decoding for SACD playback, Pioneer's Legato Pro and Hi-Bit technologies for CD playback (Legato Pro upsamples 44.1kHz CD signals to 176.4kHz and DVD-based 48kHz material to 192kHz, while Hi-Bit increases bit depths from 16-20 bits to 24 bits), and MP3 playback capability.

DVD-V playback features 12 bit/108 MHz video DACs, PureCinema progressive-scan component output (with 3:2 pulldown), Super-Fine Focus Filter with 4:4:4 video up-sampling, 16 video parameter adjustments with 3 user memories [Progressive Motion, PureCinema (on, off, Auto), YNR, CNR, Mosquito NR, Block NR, Sharpness High, Sharpness Mid, Detail, White level, Black Level, Gamma, Black Setup, Hue, Chroma Level, Chroma Delay], Parallel S-video/composite/component video outputs, Pioneer Viterbi error correction (with Accurate Digital Servo) for superior reading accuracy, and built-in Dolby Digital and DTS decoding.

This unit is roughly two years old and has seen moderate use (it has served mainly as a backup DVD player, with only occasional use as an audio player), as such, it is in excellent condition (9/10 using the Audiogon scale) both functionally and cosmetically. Unit will include all original materials (remote, manual, cables, box).

MSRP $1200, asking $475 plus shipping.

i think you are referring to the dv-45a. the 47 is the more expensive model, and $500 is a pretty good price. but, if you ever want to drop it down to $200, i will gladly pay $300 for it. [IMG]

You guys should read the forum rules which frown on commenting on a member's prices. [IMG]

Comments above pertaining to price have been removed. Unless you are going to be a part of this sale keep on walking. Discussions on price are between the buyer and seller only. Likewise, price negotiations are to be conducted offline.
